«Tahireh was born 200 years ago in Iran in a very old culture, believes and tradition. She was a passionated human who dared, in that hard time, to write and talk about her own believes, for this she paid the price and got killed. In my understanding she has, with her poems, made life softer for herself in that rough time and she dared to analyse herself honestly. In this poem I can see longing for understanding of existence in the form of a lovely choice of words, full of melody. In respect of her life and her deep understanding, I love to perform her lovely poem » - Medi Farmani.
